One Life Left iPhone Review App
Listen up, Eurogamer! You’re not the only ones with fancy-schmancy mobile phone technology. Well, not for long, anyway. Mockup courtesy of OLL listener Steve Shaw. Can someone actually make this, please?
As you might have seen earlier, One Life Left now has a Twitter.
Do ‘follow’ us if you’ve got an account yourself and you’re interested in receiving show updates // panicked requests for material.
As you might be able to tell from that ‘Tweet’ (ugh) I’m putting off fixing the site up a bit, too. If you’ve got a dull weekend ahead and fancy helping out, we need:
1) Some lovely graphical buttons instead of the text ‘important links’ thing, over there. Including one for Twitter, which I’ll add after I’ve written this.
2) A replacement for the (intended-as-placeholder) Ann at the top, which essentially is one big button that says SUBSCRIBE. Or something.
3) Or anything else, really. I’m not a designer. You might be able to tell.

It turns out my present wasn’t just a memory card — there were things ON that card. First, this message:

The New Site…
…is getting there. Apologies for our ugly faces: that bit is PLACEHOLDER. We are now accepting replacement banners which will rotate in and out, randomly. They should be something to do with the show (and if you want they can link to various parts of the site). Size is 174×550 pixels. That’s all! Show later today — 7PM, Resonance FM, all-new features / competitions / letters / nonsense. See you there. Metaphorically.

In other news, I had a dream last night that instead of going to the GMAs I went to the Mercury Music Prize. I was really angry because after I realised I was at the wrong prize (which we weren’t even nominated for!) I didn’t have time to get changed, so I had to turn up in trainers. Hopefully this is not an omen.
Please vote for us to win best broadcast so we don’t lose out to Elbow. That would be really embarrassing.

Welcome / Welcome Back
Hello all,
Welcome to One Life Left. We’re just preparing for our relaunch at 7PM this evening. Uh oh.
First: if you don’t know what the show is, this should help.
The site’s new — please excuse our dust; if you can help us repaint the place we’d appreciate it — but quite soon it’ll fill up with all kinds of ex-ex-exclusive audio / blog content. And the latest podcast, of course, which will be hopefully be here from this evening. In the meantime, why not have a poke around the old site, visit the One Life Left forum or subscribe to the podcast on iTunes and trawl through our audio archives?
We even have a Facebook account because we’re so very modern.
Those of you who listen live: there’s a One Life Left chat room here which should have some users around 7PM. Play nicely!
