“No Future!” sang some pop group, once, and maybe they were singing about OLL #124, where Wired.co.uk’s News Editor Duncan Geere joins the team to talk about what happens next. What happens next? The same thing as last time, apparently, but in 3D!!!!! OMG.

Why Nintendo are winning the console war

And I guess this is why all the kids are shanking each other up on the streets. Oh videogames.

In other news, I had a dream last night that instead of going to the GMAs I went to the Mercury Music Prize. I was really angry because after I realised I was at the wrong prize (which we weren’t even nominated for!) I didn’t have time to get changed, so I had to turn up in trainers. Hopefully this is not an omen.

Please vote for us to win best broadcast so we don’t lose out to Elbow. That would be really embarrassing.

Ann

  1. Your first ever blog post is “a 20th century classic and landmark in the history of feminism.”

(possibly because your photograph contains the packaging for your birth control pills)

  3. As mentioned over on the forum, you’re not the only one who suffered 360 Death over the weekend. There has to be some sort of race possibility here.
