One Life Left

Definitely the UK's favourite radio show (sort of) about videogames.

Commissioned by London’s award-winning Resonance 104.4 FM in early 2006, One Life Left was only meant to run for six episodes.

Take that, The Man because now, somewhere around one hundred and fifty episodes later, it’s in its seventh season and grown from humbling, terrified, fumbling beginnings into one of the station’s most valued shows.

Take THAT, The Man. Also take that, British radio standards.

Why Nintendo are winning the console war

And I guess this is why all the kids are shanking each other up on the streets. Oh videogames.

In other news, I had a dream last night that instead of going to the GMAs I went to the Mercury Music Prize. I was really angry because after I realised I was at the wrong prize (which we weren’t even nominated for!) I didn’t have time to get changed, so I had to turn up in trainers. Hopefully this is not an omen.

Please vote for us to win best broadcast so we don’t lose out to Elbow. That would be really embarrassing.

Your first ever blog post is “a 20th century classic and landmark in the history of feminism.”

(possibly because your photograph contains the packaging for your birth control pills)

As mentioned over on the forum, you’re not the only one who suffered 360 Death over the weekend. There has to be some sort of race possibility here.

  4. The concept on nintendo console and pc gaming has become very much popular now-a-days. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog through out. So thnks for posting it.
